Nickel Silver Crab Door Knocker

This Brushed Nickel Silver and Polished Chrome Blue Crab Door Knocker was designed by Michael Healy, an accomplished Rhode Island artisan. Nickel Silver is an alloy that has a warm silver color which is attained by adding nickel to bronze. This door knocker combines a high polished finish with brushed accents to generate a contemporary look. A stainless steel brush on a high speed lathe is used to create the brushed effects. The mirrored finish of polished nickel silver is achieved through varying degrees of sanding and buffing.
